Job Description:
* Working closely with the Country Sales Manager
* Provide technical leadership to grow major account sales in presales support and business development.
* Define value drivers for customers; understand competitor offerings and local market intricacies.
* Day-to-day project management and liaison with various customer teams and installers
* Coordinate with regional and global teams and subject matter experts to create product support documentation and training materials for field installation training programs consistent with local industry regulations and Company guidelines.
* Provide design support, product applications/installation training, installation supervision to customers both in- house and on- site.
* Provide the first line “on-call” technical assistance for Customer or System Integrator/Installer staff on major project roll-outs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
* BE/ B.Tech (Electronics/ Telecom). Tertiary level education in telecommunications engineering or related engineering discipline.
* 5-7 years’ experience in a technical sales function preferably with telecommunications outside plant experience.
* Track record of delivering unique technical solutions for customers.
* Knowledge of applicable installations work practices, outside plant design, product approval process.
* Sound technical comprehension of telecommunication equipment, cables, hardware and accessories.
* Experience working with/for a global corporation.
* Experience working in cross functional and widely disbursed teams.
* Some commercial experience a definite plus willingness to travel at short notice including international destinations.
* Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
