Job Description
• Identifying villages/slums and spotting venues for setting up new centers (or)
• Identifying villages/slums within approachable limits of an existing center for further mobilization of the local youth
• Mapping the community in the villages/slums as per the available guidelines where mobilization is likely to happen
• Bulding rapport and trust with the community well before the start of the mobilization.
• Creating awareness on the LABS program and sensitizing community to participate and take the program to as many needy as possble.
• Addressing communities about the LABS program and its benefits through various means of communication to motivate and encourage youth to avail the opportunity.
• Helping the center team to conduct road shows and helping the team to select the needy youth (LABS aspirants) and ensure that the center has optimum batch strength.
• Providing support to the State Coordinator for identification and selection of venue and other infrastructure needs.
• Helping organize Parents meet as and when required as per the process
• Sensitizing the parents on, demands / requirements of the organized sector, available market opportunities for their wards, counseling them to encourage their wards take up jobs in cities, handle migration issues etc
• Counseling the LABS training dropouts and encouraging them to join the LABS to ensure retention during the training program
• Become the community interface for the organization (build trust, resolve conflicts etc)

• Ensuring retention of aspirants during training program after inception
• Ensuring timely availability of venue and other infrastructure requirements for setting up of the centers.
Key personal attributes:
• Passion to serve the community
• Excellent communication skills including public speaking skills in Hindi and local language
• Willingness to travel and work across the state.
• Documentation skills in English
• Computer proficiency (MS Office)
Education : Must have done MSW (Masters of Social Work)
