Job Description:
The person will be responsible for procurement or capital equipment
Technical evaluation of all capital goods offers (both local and imported) in consultation with user deptt and prepare a probable cost sheet for negotiation purpose
Improvise current procedure for procurement of Engg items and,if necessary, to develop a new robust system
Collation of all critical info of all plants to have periodical study for cost and quality advantage to the organization
Vendor development for Engg items,moulds and variables
To introduce modern techniques to reduce inventory,cut cost without compromising service level
To study and find out pain areas across all plants to improve efficiency
Development of demand planning process keeping in view capacity enhancement in different plants
To bench mark service level for a continuous process industry and support Sr.V P to improve efficiency of the deptt and service level.
Desired Candidate Profile:
* BE Mechanical with 10 - 15 yrs expeiencein MAterials Management and Supplychain.
* Experience in Import is mandetory
* Will handle procurement of 50 - 100 crores capital equipments
