Job Description:
Follows and optimizes injection process and results
Programs injection robots
Participate in new products/new process (IMM, robots) launches.
• Programs and configures injection robots, supervises IMM programming and setting
• Validate injection operating procedures in cooperation with manufacturing teams.
• Stabilizes and optimizes injection results (TRS, plastic consumption, scraps) and follows actions plans.
• Analyze process failures causes
• Participates with paint team in paint defaults/scap analysis in paint due to injection process
• Propose, test and validate technical solutions in order to improve injection performance (productivity, quality, safety).
• Follows and improves tool change procedure and time performance and safety rules when lifting and changing molds
• Insure with the mold maintenance team that the tools are kept in the best possible working conditions
• During new projects development, will strongly participate to mold set-up and injection parameters optimization
• Participate in new injection equipments specifications and reception in the plant.
• Give SPM and manufacturing engineer assistance in taking in charge new products tests and adjustments for injection process.
• Follow new products ramp up for injection process.
• Update new products documentation.
• Conduct injection and tooling workshops in the plant.
• Follow in cooperation with supplier technician the quality performance of plastics parts sub-contractors for the plant.
• In cooperation with maintenance department, write and submit contractors’ safety programs for injection area.
o Coaches and trains injection team (injection setters, mold changes operators in the plant (skills evaluation, internal training module).
Desired Candidate Profile:
• Age: 28-32
• Experience: 5-7
• Education: plastics engineer
• Fields of experience: industry, production or engineering, experience of large production equipment management, processes orientated, experience on paint on plastics parts will be a plus, robots programming knowledge
