Job Description:
1.Establishing a compelling vision and strategy for Services and communicate it throughout the client base, vendor/partner base, the team and company in a way that is both broadly understood and easily actionable.
2.Identifying new projects as per the Business Plan. Study the feasibility of the projects in terms of location, resources etc. Reviewing multiple projects.
3.Arranging Joint Ventures with Indian / Overseas companies for pre-qualification. Preparation and submission of Tenders.
4.Marketing intelligence, networking with clients.
5.Organize for and obtain all the required approvals from the relevant authorities.
6.Organize and award contracts for design and construction.
7.Supervise the work of the respective consultants / contractors.
8.Co-ordinate the project with the relevant authorities.
9.Establish an organization for the company, for both the project phase and the operations phase.
10.Network connected for dealing with all agencies, government, local, and other bodies.
11.To oversee all other provisions such as for subcontractors, work, change in legislation and take appropriate action.
Managing staff, business planning, financial reporting including annual budget and expenditure plans.
12.Regular meetings with the clients and client representatives to discuss project progress. Liase, monitor and coordinate other professional consultants .
13.Managing staff, business planning, financial reporting including annual budget and expenditure plans. Handling project activities involving determining various requirements with respect to project marketing.
Desired Attributes for a GM:
Should be a core professional in business development and tendering from well reputed construction company with capacity to independently handle with assistants entire process of identifying new business opportunities to preparing and finalizing a tender till submission. Responsible for evaluating and executing all tenders, documents, papers / forms, returns relating to construction work. High degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team based environment.
Proven experience in providing strategic guidance and operational oversight in the business development area in a growing matrix-based multi-industry company.
Strong ability to prioritize key initiatives, develop business cases for budgets and resource investments and align multiple operating units towards common business development goals. High degree of personal integrity and strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced, flexible, team based environment.

Desired Candidate Profile:
The candidate must be well experienced in handling tendering and
Estimation Cell, and the exposure to Roads /BOT Projects.
Must be familiar with the Contracting System.
Preparation of Tender, Evaluation of Techno-Commercial part and
Price Bids.
Must possess excellent and Interpersonal and Leadership Skills.
You should have an experience of 25 - 30 Years with a degree
in Civil Engineering.
Qualification : BE Civil (Graduation).
