Job Description:
1. Create new products(jewellery )as per the designs
2. Work on new processes and production methodology to manufacture new designs in a cost effective manner,maintaining the quality.
3. Define Bill-Of-Material(proportion of raw materials) for every new product developed
4. Develop new products on schedule.
5. Check production feasibility
6. Interact with in house model makers and artisans to ensure that the final product is per the requirement.
7. Monitor the aesthetic aspects and relevance of each design/ concept at every stage from initial concept stage to the final prototype
8. Implementation of policies, systems
9. Achieving design targets and deadlines
10. Managing a team of jewellery designers,merchandisers,CAD guys,Masters/Model makers.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Qualification : Mechanical engineers and /or graduates from NID or NIFT
Work experience :
• 4-5 years hands on work experience in Product Development ONLY IN JEWELLERY INDUSTRY.
• Having worked in Internatioal markets /exports,in jewellery industry.
• Experience in dealing with international customers
Additional information : Diploma engineers with experience in model making and or having worked in sample/master department would be preferred.
