Job Description:
We are an internationally renowned mathematical, statistical, and strategic consulting firm in search of 2-3 full-time analysts to eventually work at our Headquarters located in Providence, Rhode Island in the United States. After an initial period of working from India, during which time we will be applying for the analysts’ H1-B visas, the successful applicant will work and train for a period of 2-3 months while being compensated for that period.
This quantitative analyst position would entail primarily working on projects in our dissertation consulting, academic journal article assistance, business projects, and coding divisions. The required knowledge base and typically project areas in which we specialize are as follows:
• Statistical and econometric analysis
• Planning quantitative methodologies for research studies (doctoral dissertations, mostly)
• Performing an introductory analysis and coding for our business consulting projects. You could work your way over time almost fully into our business consulting division, working on projects (with similar quantitative analysis needs) for our large corporate clients that the successful analyst could occasionally be working with after moving to Rhode Island assuming successful completion of the trial.
The job would begin with the candidate working from India starting immediately following the completion of a successful trial project. After a 2-3 month period where the successful analyst(s) demonstrates his or her skills and fit for the position, and we finalize the H1-B visa sponsorship, we would have the analyst(s) move to Rhode Island.

Desired Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a few incredibly hard-working and astoundingly brilliant individuals to join our team. Hours for a quantitative analyst at Minimax can be intense, so the candidate should be prepared for long hours and be able to conduct independent research. The candidate should be a mathematician and researcher, first and foremost. Comfort with statistics is essential (specifically Multiple Linear Regression, Structural Equation Modeling, Hierarchical Linear Regression, and Generalized Linear Modeling). An excellent grasp of econometrics, mathematics, statistical software programming, great communication skills, positive attitude, around-the-clock and IMMEDIATE availability, immaculate attention to detail, high tolerance for long hours and tedious work, and a diligent work ethic are all necessary to apply for this job.
If you have the qualifications we need, please send your resume to InterStatConsulting@Gmail.com. We will require all potential applicants to do a timed sample project to demonstrate their skills and their ability to work under a time constraint.
