We are looking for SQL DBA professionals immediately to be based at Chennai or Trivandrum
Job Details:
• 5-9 years experience in SQL Server 2000 & 2005 database administration
• Should have strong fundamental & conceptual knowledge on all forms of locking, architecture, physical & application (table) level partitioning techniques
• Experience in database partitioning, replication / cluster, Archiving, capacity planning, upgrades
• Provide assistance to the development team on performance tuning & resolve locking
• Perform database SQL tuning, recommending best practices for performance, performance mentoring, building stored procedures
• Define database application objects
• Failure recovery: prevent data loss
• Database backup techniques
• Provide off-hours on-call support
Qualification : B.E or MSc or ME or MCA
Experience : 5-9 yrs.
Work Location : Chennai, Trivandrum, Cochin
Salary : As per Industry standard.
