Job Description:
Plan for discharge and loading of containers. Optimum utilization of resources to enable faster turn around of the vessels. Co-ordination with Shipping Line and receive the Import /Export details and Stowage plan well before the arrival of the vessel. Prepare vessel Discharge Plan and Sequence List. Prepare vessel loading plan as per the pre-stowage and get approval from chief officer of the vessel without any operational delay. Monitor closely the Discharge and Loading sequence followed during the operations to ensure that the containers are loaded as per the plan. Upon completion of the vessel, prepare final Loading Plan and submit it to the chief officer of the vessel. Forward the final loading plan with vessel handling summary to the shipping line. Submit the discharge and loading list to Shipping Line and Customs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Graduates or post graduates with 1 to 5 years experience in Planning section of a Container Terminal. Well versed with all planning activites such as vessel planning, yard planning and rail planning, customs procedures, documentation etc.,
Experience in Navis will be an added advantage.
